Camp Philosophy
Youth today are exposed to craft projects daily - school, church, home, scouts, youth groups, and youth center programs. Art Camp is not about crafts. It is about Art- culture, history, Masters,
technique, line-shape-color-texture, emotion, creation, creativity. We hope that campers will learn to put part of themselves in to their art work and to view the work of others with a sense of appreciation and understanding.
Camp Activities
This is the second year for camp and we assume campers have a knowledge of color, lines, shape- the basics. We will get more indepth this year with a look at the Masters - trying to replicate the emotion, technique, or style of the great ones. In addition, we will have a week long project where we will take an object and turn it into many forms of art... we'll sketch it, sculpt it, print it, melt it, change it and so much more!
Nutritional meals and snacks are provided.
Recreational activities, Reading Quest, and games available daily.
Each camper will recieve a camp t-shirt to wear on field trip day.

Science Camp II -
Fizz! Pop! Eww! Ahh!
July 21-25
8:30-4:30 Daily
Camp Philosophy
Kids love doing science experiments! Our camp gives youth the opportunity for some real hands on learning with tons of fun and exciting experiements. We don't just read about science from a book! Campers get much more than vocabulary knowledge; they actually touch, taste, and smell the world of science. We hope campers gain a love of learning and exploring that stays with them their whole lives.
